It is with much pleasure and great pride that we launch a new and revitalized Peren Government College Website. This online gateway to our esteemed Institution symbolizes our commitment to growth, innovation, excellence and the pursuit of knowledge. May the website be a portal that fosters connections, disseminates knowledge, and showcases the remarkable achievements of
our college community.
Peren Government College has completed the 2024-25 academic year on a very positive note with three (3) students excelling in the 2025 Nagaland University CBCS Final Year Examination as toppers – Keyinciepgongle (3rd Rank – History Honours), Puisuile (7th Rank – Education Honours), Sehlal Singson (10th Rank – Political Science Honours). The overall passed percentage of our College B.A 6th Semester is 89% which is better than the Nagaland university passed percentage of 74.77%. We congratulate all our graduates on their great success and wish them the very best as they progress on to the future.
Peren Government College will be completing forty years on 13th April 2027. The College has come a long way since its establishment but there is an important milestone which is yet to be achieved and that is the Accreditation of Peren Government College by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Out of 17 Government Colleges in Nagaland, leaving aside the three (3) Colleges recently established, Peren Government College is the only one yet to be graded by NAAC. This is a matter of great challenge as well as a compelling motivation for all stakeholders. And so, before the commemoration of the 40th anniversary, the College community must gird up to work diligently and make sacrifices necessary for the quality enhancement of Peren Government College to help achieve the goal of NAAC Accreditation. Towards this end, the College authority has initiated the task of strengthening the quality assurance set-up and processes within the Institution. Let us get our college accredited through the consolidation of our collective strength and effort.
